The flying window

When can you still fly?

Your due date in. Your last day to fly, the date airlines start asking for a letter, and which of our retreats fall inside your window. Free, and no email needed.

Day, month and year.

Or, if you do not have it to hand:

How many babies?

Why this exists

Almost every woman who writes to us asks this first. Not the food, not the rooms. Whether it is still safe to fly, and whether she has left it too late.

So we made the answer plain. The clinical guidance is quoted from the RCOG and the NHS. The cutoff dates come from each airline's own published terms, and I check them every month.

Where the dates lead

Four nights. Ten to fifteen women, every one of them here on her own. Near Barcelona, near Lisbon, and in Somerset, which needs no flight at all.

The mom'z retreat estate in Somerset, two hours from London
Somerset. Two hours from London, no airline involved.
A bedroom at the mom'z retreat house
A room of your own, or shared with one other woman.
Women together on a mom'z pregnancy retreat
Everyone arrives not knowing anyone.
“As a trained midwife, I thought I didn’t have much to gain from these sessions, but I was wrong. You couldn’t get better antenatal classes than this.”

Charlotte Rose-Birch, midwife, United Kingdom

Close to a thousand women have come since 2023, and every retreat is rated five stars. Read what they said

If your midwife or doctor later advises against travelling, you are refunded in full, flights included, through pregnancy travel insurance that costs 15 to 50 euros as a one-off.
