I am totally blown away and my brain still struggles to process how unreal and beautiful this retreat was. Everything was absolutely perfect and up to the highest standards. The intention behind this retreat, the chef throwing her passion into every single meal, mom'z team being so supportive, loving, and helpful, and of course all these powerhouse mamas-to-be are just touching my heart so deeply.

I feel so serene after this retreat, my confidence restored in what my body is capable of. I had so many reservations and fears about childbirth. Shirin shared everything with the right messaging and really instilled a sense of empowerment and female legacy.

My key takeaway was learning to trust my body, embracing the journey ahead without fear. Feeling safe, heard, and seen was invaluable to me. This experience needs to be part of every mama’s pregnancy journey! The way the mind, body, and spirit are nurtured on the retreat is truly a testament to the wonderful team. I was expecting to relax, but I wasn’t expecting to have such a spiritual experience or build such beautiful connections to my pregnancy and to other mamas. The most nourishing and fulfilling retreat. I can't recommend it enough! I had been following this group since months before I was pregnant, and I knew it would be a non-negotiable for me - and it didn’t disappoint at all! From the curated group of people who attended the retreat that I know I’ll keep in touch with, to all the activities that were so thoughtfully planned and executed, to all the healthy and delicious meals we were fed multiple times a day throughout the retreat! The venue also was so so beautiful, there aren’t enough photos you can take to capture the atmosphere.

I’ll be honest, I was hesitant at first. None of my friends had ever been to this retreat. A few had seen the mom’z Instagram page, but that was it - no first-hand stories, no one to ask. I felt drawn to go, but traveling alone to a place I couldn’t verify 100% felt risky. So I did what I could: I checked the organizers, looked into the details, and took a leap of faith. And I’m so glad I did. What I found was a real, well-run, caring experience. Everything was organized with integrity and heart. I left feeling safe, supported, and full of joy - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I haven’t even had my first baby yet, and I’m already thinking about the next one… just so I have a reason to come back again.

This retreat made me feel much better prepared even though this is round number 3! It was an opportunity to unplug from all my other responsibilities in life to properly connect with this pregnancy ahead of little one's arrival. Having this experience in the incredibly lux venue was icing on top. Building connections with the truly inspirational, badass women in my group was the cherry. I could not have crafted a better experience if I tried. It was genuinely perfect!

If you’re thinking about it, just do it! It is a journey changer in the most positive of ways - you will leave feeling more confident, excited and rejuvenated. You will gain exponentially if you’re willing, open and vulnerable. I am taking very useful knowledge, feelings of connection and empowerment, body is feeling great and I have momentum and skills to help me continue nurturing myself physically. This retreat lessened my anxiety and feelings of not being prepared by providing knowledge, skills and actionable things to do to prepare for childbirth and the journey into motherhood but also intangible things like mindfulness and connection to self that also help in relaxation and knowing that I have the wisdom within from all that came before me to be able to do this.

A must-do for anyone wanting a truly special and unique experience to celebrate their body and pregnancy. I came to rejuvenate and do something for myself, to lean into the final weeks of this pregnancy and I 100% achieved that. A takeaway I didn’t foresee was how emotional it would feel to be a part of it.

I came to the retreat already quite prepared, having read a lot about childbirth. What I really needed, however, was peace of mind around the matrescence process - something I feared most. The retreat gave me exactly that. The balance of mind, body, and soul left me feeling more grounded, reassured, and ready for what’s ahead. On the mind level, the knowledge sessions were insightful and I still learned a lot. On the body level, the movement classes were both energizing and accessible. And on the soul level, the experience was deeply fulfilling.

I arrived with an open mind and left overflowing with knowledge, self-appreciation, and love for my body and this pregnancy. It was the most grounding, perspective-shifting experience I never knew I needed. As a firefighter, my world is full of urgency and little time to simply be. This retreat gave me the safe space to slow down, reconnect with my feminine side, and settle into my beliefs. I now have a deeper appreciation for myself, more trust in my body, and newfound confidence to advocate for my birth plan.

The activities and me-time were perfectly paced, and the lush environment created such a calming ambiance. The whole team were brilliant, helpful, supportive, and always going the extra mile to spoil us. The connections I made - with my baby and with the other mamas - were genuine and I truly hope they’ll be lifelong. This retreat didn’t just meet my expectations, it exceeded them. Amber was a wonderful facilitator, weaving in empowerment while also reminding us to let go and choose our battles on the journey through pregnancy and into childbirth.

As a trained midwife, I thought I didn't have much to gain from these sessions, but I was wrong. Amber taught me some new study information on vitamins and she empowered me to seek the birth plan that I hope for. All of the childbirth preparation classes are evidence based from the latest studies and are delivered in a balanced way, while acknowledging that different types of births occur. You couldn't get better antenatal classes than this! I came to relax, but left empowered with new friendships, a deep spiritual connection to childbirth and motherhood, freedom from fears, and pelvic exercises that gave me confidence for labour. The mom’z pregnancy retreat is so much more than relaxation. You gain knowledge, empowerment, inner and physical strength, and real connection, all while enjoying stunning views, sunrise yoga, incredible facilitators, and fresh, nourishing meals.

Calming and empowering! mom’z Solo Babymoon was a game changer in my pregnancy. The group of participants was diverse and yet all energies flowed in the same direction. I emerged relaxed and rested after the wonderful days at the superb venue. I actually liked it so much that I signed up for a second retreat!

I'm so grateful to have had this beautiful, enriching and empowering experience. I'm proud of myself for giving myself this gift - it was 1000% the right decision to come here and to allow myself to enjoy the pregnancy journey with all these other beautiful mamas. All I can say is that I’d do it again for my next baby! The delicious and nutritious food and morning movements really helped setting my body into the right routine which I intend to keep up even after the retreat. There aren't really words to summarize the spiritual and mental change I've felt these past 4 days. I came to this retreat somewhat in denial about labor and I leave excited by the challenge, empowered to take on the adventure, and with a heart full of love for my mom'z sisters and all the mothers that came before me. I felt humbled to be surrounded by such strong, independent and talented women with whom it was very easy to connect and learn from. I loved the little "in between" moments we had, the conversations with each other, being with and in nature, being and not doing...

This retreat was everything I didn't realize I needed. It met more than my initial expectations and I feel very relaxed, prepared and empowered thanks to everything I learned through it. I wish every woman could receive this opportunity, whether pregnant or not and I can't think of just one thing to highlight because everything just made so much sense together.

An enchanting escape from everyday life, wonderful people, new insights, knowledge, friendships, connections, feelings, and memories. Expectations were exceeded, even though I arrived without any specific expectations. What remains are wonderful memories, a lasting feeling of lightness, and connection (to myself, to the baby, to the other mothers) and the feeling of being more 'prepared'.
