Is this retreat right for my stage of pregnancy?
The sweet spot is your second and early third trimester (weeks 14-35).
Travel is easier than you think: almost all mothers fly in to join us. We deliberately chose our locations near accessible hubs like Barcelona, Lisbon, and even London (for our UK pregnancy retreat) so you have easy flight or train connections.
Just double-check with your healthcare provider to ensure you’re fit to travel - every pregnancy is unique.
What if I am early in my pregnancy and want to wait before booking?
Most women secure their spot early.
You can either wait until after your first scan in week 12-14 and book later if availability allows. But many women prefer to reserve their spot with a deposit and still receive a full refund if they need to cancel more than 10 weeks before the retreat start. This way, you can secure your preferred dates without pressure.
What is included in the retreat?
Everything is included - except flights.

Is it still valuable if this is not my first baby?
Yes!
Many second-time mothers and even professionals say the retreat gave them new confidence and tools. We actually wrote a full comparison on why this goes deeper than standard antenatal classes. The retreat goes beyond standard childbirth classes. Each workshop is built on evidence-based knowledge, movement, and emotional preparation - not just information overload. One midwife who attended as a participant described it as “the best antenatal preparation, even for me as a professional”. Others share how much they valued the chance to reset, feel prepared again, and approach birth and postpartum differently..→ Hear more from moms who experienced transformation in our Journal.
What food is served?
Food is an important part of the experience.
The retreat offers exquisite, locally-sourced cuisine prepared with love by our in-house nutritionist, thoughtfully designed to nourish and delight both mother and baby. We also accommodate cravings and all personal dietary preferences to ensure that every meal satisfies and nourishes you.
Can I bring my partner or a friend?
The retreat is designed as a solo babymoon for pregnant women.
That is not about excluding anyone - it is about creating the space that makes the experience powerful:
• Less mental load
• More personal growth and confidence
• Stronger bonds with other pregnant women (this rarely happens when guests come). Our Pregnancy Retreat guide explains the concept in detail.
How does my partner benefit if I attend alone?
Your partner benefits too.
After the retreat, you receive access to video courses created for couples, designed to bring your partner into the journey and help you prepare together for the arrival of your baby.
Read more about the mental load of pregnancy and why dedicated space helps couples.
What if I cannot attend for health reasons?
Your travel insurance usually would cover the full retreat fee (+ flights!)
If you do not already have travel insurance (some premium credit cards include it), we recommend getting coverage so you are protected if pregnancy or health complications prevent you from traveling.
We can recommend insurance options that typically cover:
• Retreat fee
• Flights and other travel costs
Policies are often a one time payment of 15 to 50 euros and can be purchased online.
