Summary: Payments & Cancellations

Payment Options:

  • Pay in Full or split into 2 parts: 50% now, 50% four weeks before the retreat.
  • If your retreat starts in 4 weeks or less, payment must be made in full.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Pregnancy- / Health-Related Cancellations with Travel Insurance if your healthcare provider advises against travel due to pregnancy- / health-related medical reasons (even if you were initially fit to travel):
    • Full refund on retreat fees and flights when covered by travel insurance.
    • Don’t have insurance? No worries — we can recommend trusted providers (just ask us), and it usually costs just €15-50 (a one-time fee). Check your current insurance conditions or explore options like Heymondo, Intermundial, or Chapka Direct
  • Cancellations without Travel Insurance:
    • More than 10 weeks before the retreat: Full refund.
    • 4 to 10 weeks before the retreat: 50% refund.
    • Less than 4 weeks before the retreat: No refund.
    • Note: we’ll do everything we can to fill your spot. If we succeed (and we often do, you’ll still get a full refund.

‍1. Mom’z Retreat Attendees

1.1 Reservation Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained therein are correct.

1.2 Payment Terms
The customer may pay up-front in full or via installments. For reservations placed more than 4 weeks before the retreat start date, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. Full payment (100%) is required if the reservation is placed less than 4 weeks before the retreat start date.

1.3 Balance Payment
The balance of the retreat cost must be paid by the customer no later than 4 weeks prior to the retreat start date. For bookings made within the last 4 weeks, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Payments can be made via credit card or other options available on our website, depending on the customer’s location.

1.4 Non-Payment
If payment of the balance is not received by the due date, Mom'z will issue a reminder. Failure to respond to this prompt gives Mom'z the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

1.5 Cancellation by the Customer

  • Cancellations 4 weeks or less before the retreat start date: 0% refund
  • Cancellations 4–10 weeks before the retreat start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations more than 10 weeks before the retreat start date: 100% refund
    Refunds may take up to 2 weeks to process. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 10 weeks before the retreat.

1.6 Travel Insurance
Mom'z strongly recommends that customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any potential losses due to cancellation or other unforeseen circumstances.

1.7 Force Majeure
In the event of Force Majeure, Mom'z reserves the right to change bookings, postpone, or cancel retreats. In such cases:

  • Vouchers valid for 3 years will be offered, redeemable only for the specific product originally purchased (e.g., a solo babymoon retreat voucher can only be used for another babymoon retreat).
  • Vouchers are transferable to another person.

1.8 Cancellation by Mom'z
If Mom'z cancels or postpones a retreat for reasons outside of Force Majeure (e.g., operational issues), customers will receive a full refund of all payments made.

1.9 Liability for Flights and Travel
Mom'z is not liable for flight costs, delays, cancellations, or additional travel expenses incurred by the customer.

1.10 Property Use and Damages
The customer must use the retreat property responsibly and must not engage in any activities deemed offensive, dangerous, or illegal.

  • Customers are liable for any damages to the property and will be charged based on an invoice provided by the property owner.
  • Mom'z assumes no liability for damages caused by the customer or their child.

1.11 Accommodation Changes
If the customer downgrades their accommodation after payment, they are not automatically entitled to a refund. For upgrades, the new price will apply.

1.12 Health and Safety
Customers agree to participate in all activities at their own risk and acknowledge they have disclosed any medical conditions or limitations.

  • A waiver agreeing to these terms is part of the onboarding process.
  • Customers are advised to stop activities if they feel unwell or experience discomfort.

1.13 Supervision of Children
Mom'z does not assume responsibility for supervising children at any time. All liability remains with the parent.

2. Complaints

2.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing (e.g., via email) to the retreat manager at the earliest opportunity.

3. Vouchers and Promotions

3.1 Vouchers issued for cancellations or Force Majeure are valid for 3 years and are transferable but restricted to the specific product originally purchased.

3.2 Discretionary discounts offered to other customers do not affect the status of guests who have paid full price.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Mom'z retains all copyright and exclusive rights to the materials, photos, videos, and content used for promotional purposes.

4.2 By participating in Mom'z retreats or events, customers consent to the use of photos, videos, or other content featuring them for promotional purposes unless they explicitly notify Mom'z in writing before the retreat begins.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

5.1 These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Spanish courts. This applies to all customers regardless of their country of residence.

6. Online Courses and Digital Products

6.1 Digital products, including online courses and coaching programs, are non-refundable.

6.2 Mom'z does not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or earnings from its courses or programs.

7. Force Majeure

7.1 Force Majeure includes but is not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, accidents, or third-party failures. Mom'z will not be liable for any disruptions caused by such events.

8. Liability

8.1 Mom'z is not liable for loss, damage, injury, or illness occurring during the retreat or while traveling to and from the retreat. Customers are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance.
